Wholesale terms & conditions
OUR TRADE PROGRAM
Moon & Back Interiors and Stationery supplies a select number of gift stores across South Africa.
We supply brick and mortar stores as well as qualifying interior design professionals with our products.
In order to qualify to receive your wholesale discount, you will be required to fill out an application form.
We will get back to you within 2 business days regarding the success of your application.
HOW TO ORDER
Once your application has been received and processed, you will be able to see the wholesale rates online on our online shop provided you have signed in to your customer account online.
If you are an existing wholesale customer, you no longer need to use a discount code in order to receive your discount, provided you sign in using your email address.
Until end March 2026, we provided our wholesale customers with free shipping. Unfortunately we can no longer offer free shipping over and above our wholesale discounts. We don't wish to raise our prices to cover these costs.
MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS
We operate a tiered pricing discount structure.|
Discounts applied are between 10% - 40% depending on the overall order total in your cart.
EMAIL AND WHATSAPP ORDERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
All orders MUST be processed online.
We keep an up-to-date inventory online of current designs and therefore it is time-consuming for us to process manual orders.
As a small business we simply do not have the capacity to do this - it always ends up with a lot of backwards and forwards and it is time consuming and unnecessary for both parties.
REQUESTS FOR CATALOGUES
We do not provide catalogues of products available to our trade customers.
All current and available products may be viewed online in real time.
PAYMENT TERMS
You will be required to settle your invoice in full on ordering through our online ordering system.
Orders will only be processed once full payment is received.
As a small business we are not able to offer payment terms.
DELIVERY TIMES FROM ORDER
Orders are processed first-come-first served basis, and depending on the size of your order, may take a little longer, but we will always keep you up to date on processing times should we expect a delay.
From time to time, products will be listed as pre-order - but the detail can be found online on the product description to when they can be expected back at the studio and ready for shipping.
Should your order contain pre-order or print-to-order items, your order will only ship once all the products ordered become available.
We will send your tracking number once your order is booked for dispatch with our couriers.
Orders can take up to 3-4 days depending on your location.
WE USE THE COURIER GUY FOR OUR DELIVERIES
Should you wish to send your own courier - we are happy for you to do so. Please select 'Pick up from studio', pop a note in the order comments that you will be sending your own courier and we will pack and supply parcel dimensions and address details to you for collection.
Client couriers will be expected to collect within our business collection window of between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
HOLIDAY CLOSURES ETC
We will always put this information up on the first page of the website as well as social media if we are closed/closing.
Please do keep this in mind when ordering and make use of social media to check this information.
For larger holidays, for example December, we will send out email correspondence to our trade and direct customers regarding dates.
CONSIGNMENT
We do not accept consignment requests from retailers.
EXPORT / CROSS BORDER ORDERING
We do not yet export or ship outside the borders of South Africa.
RETURNS & ORDER ERRORS
Please note that you must inform us within 48 hours of receiving your order if there are any mistakes or breakages otherwise your order will be considered received in good order. We reserve the right to provide a credit voucher towards your next purchase.
We do not accept returns from our trade customers unless there is a fault in manufacturing which must be reported within 7 working days from receipt of order.
MEDIA & IMAGES
As a trade customer, you are permitted to use any of the product images you see on the website for marketing/social media or online retail purposes.
Should you require high-res images, do let us know and we will be happy to oblige.
Images, designs and products remain the copyright of Moon & Back and may not be copied or replicated in any way for personal or commercial gain.
